The HS-125 is a long-handle cable cutter for copper and aluminium cable up to 125 mm². The forged hook-and-anvil blades shear the conductor cleanly instead of crushing it, so the cut end stays round and goes straight into a lug or ferrule without re-dressing.
Enquire on WhatsAppThe HS-125 is a two-handed cable cutter built for site work on power and control cable. The hooked upper blade pulls the cable into the jaw as you close the handles and the lower anvil blade shears through it in one stroke — the same scissor action used on switchboard and panel jobs where a hacksaw would fray the strands and a bolt cutter would flatten them.
It cuts copper and aluminium conductors up to 125 mm², stranded or solid, single-core or multi-core. Because the cut face stays round and undeformed, the conductor can be crimped or inserted into a terminal immediately, which saves a trimming step on every joint.
The head is drop-forged and heat-treated; the long tubular handles give the leverage to make the cut with hand pressure alone, so no ratchet, hydraulics or power supply is needed. Slip-resistant rubber grips keep the tool steady in the hand.
Not a crimping tool and not an insulated tool. It cuts cable only — it does not crimp lugs — and the handles are rubber-gripped steel tube, so it must not be used on live conductors.

- Do not use on steel wire rope, ACSR, armoured cable armour, or hardened wire — these will chip the blades. Use a dedicated wire-rope or armour cutter for those.
