JiGO PCT-102 Wire Connector
The PCT-102 is a two-way push-in wire connector: strip the conductor, push it into the port, and it is held and connected. A transparent housing lets the connection be seen without taking it apart.
A twisted joint under a wrap of tape is still the commonest connection in Indian wiring, and still the commonest cause of a hot ceiling rose. A push-in connector replaces it with a sprung cage that grips the conductor at a defined force: the strands cannot splay, the joint cannot loosen with vibration, and nothing depends on how hard someone twisted.
Why push-in rather than twist and tape
- Defined contact force — the spring sets the pressure, not the installer, so every joint in the building is the same
- Transparent body — the conductor can be seen seated to full depth through the housing, which is the only way to check a push-in joint
- Vibration resistant — a sprung cage takes up any settling of the conductor; a screw terminal does not
- Fast — strip to the marked length and push. A junction box that took ten minutes with tape takes one
The PCT-102 is the two-conductor size, used for joining two wires end to end or for extending a run. The same family covers three, four, five and eight ways for feeding several points from one supply conductor in a ceiling rose or a junction box.
Installation
Strip the conductor to the length marked on the connector — too short and the spring grips insulation, too long and bare copper is left outside the housing. Push until the conductor end is visible through the clear body. Use it within its rating, and do not use a push-in connector as a substitute for a proper terminal block on a circuit that will be loaded continuously at its limit.

The PCT-102 is used by electrical contractors and maintenance teams in junction boxes, ceiling roses, lighting circuits, panel wiring and any place a clean, repeatable joint is needed in a hurry.
- Check the conductor type: push-in connectors of this style are made for solid conductors. For flexible stranded wire use a lever connector or fit a ferrule first.
- Strip to the mark: the strip length is printed on the connector body. It is the single thing that determines whether the joint is sound.
