JiGO FS-09 Wire Cutter
The JG-FS-09 is a precision side cutter with a flush cutting edge and a spring return — for fine wire, component leads and trimming cable ties flush.
A flush cutter leaves no protruding stub. On an electronics board that means a component leg cut level with the solder joint; on a panel it means a cable tie trimmed level with the head instead of leaving the razor-sharp spike an ordinary side cutter leaves behind.

Anyone who has run a hand along the back of a wiring loom and found a trimmed cable tie knows why that matters. A flush cutter removes the hazard entirely, and costs very little next to the first cut hand.
Choosing the right tool
Keep it for soft materials. A precision flush cutter used on steel wire, spring steel or hardened conductor will chip at the cutting edge, and a chipped flush cutter no longer cuts flush. For steel wire use a dedicated cutter from the JiGO range.

The JG-FS-09 is used in electronics and instrumentation work, panel wiring benches, assembly lines and maintenance workshops.
- Tell us the terminal you are crimping — type, material and cross-section range — and we will supply the right tool rather than the nearest one.
- A ratchet tool must be allowed to complete its cycle. Releasing it early gives an under-compressed crimp that looks finished. If the ratchet is jamming before full closure, the tool or the die is wrong for the terminal.
- Check the crimp, not the tool. A pull test on the first crimp of each batch catches a worn die or a wrong setting before a hundred bad terminations are made.
