Waterproof Junction Box M2068

The JiGO M2068 is a compact IP68 waterproof junction box with a hinged lid, for safe cable joints outdoors, underground and in wet locations. It is rated IPX8 for continuous immersion at 4 m depth for 120 hours. The lid swings open on a full-length hinge, so it stays attached while you wire, and closes onto a bright yellow rubber gasket, secured by screws along the front edge for a tight, even seal. The cable enters through a sealed nylon cable gland on one end, and moulded mounting ears let you fix it to walls, poles or machines.

Typical uses: garden and landscape lighting, LED and street-light connections, pumps, CCTV and outdoor power points — any cable joint that must be protected from rain, dust and water. For a screw-down lid version, see model M2068-X.
