The JiGO M2068-X is a compact IP68 waterproof junction box for making safe cable joints outdoors, underground and in wet locations. It is rated IPX8 for continuous immersion at 4 m depth for 120 hours, so joints stay dry even when the box sits in water. The cable enters through a sealed nylon cable gland on one end, and the lid closes onto a bright yellow rubber gasket and is held by four screws for a tight, even seal. Mounting ears with slots at both ends allow quick fixing to walls, poles or machines.
Typical uses: garden and landscape lighting, LED and street-light connections, pumps, CCTV and outdoor power points — any cable joint that must be protected from rain, dust and water.
