JiGO N52-2042 DIN Rail Meter

Voltage and current together answer most of the questions anyone asks at a distribution board. The N52-2042 puts both on the DIN rail in two modules, with the two values on separate coloured displays so they cannot be misread for each other at a glance.

Why two values rather than one

• Voltage alone tells you about the supply but nothing about the load
• Current alone tells you about the load but nothing about why it is behaving that way
• Both together distinguish a supply problem from a load problem in a couple of seconds, which is the first question on any fault call
• Colour separated displays — volts in red, amps in green, so the two are never confused

Being on the rail rather than the door means no cut-out, no gasket and no wires running to the front cover. The meter sits next to the breaker protecting the circuit it measures, which also makes it obvious which circuit the reading belongs to.

Connection and selection

Confirm how the current input is connected before ordering — direct in line for small loads, or through a current transformer on larger circuits. Tell us the circuit rating and we will specify it and supply the CT if one is needed. The N52-2042 is an indicating instrument; for disconnection on an out-of-range condition, use an NP series protection relay instead.
