The Phoenix Contact VAL-MS-EE-T2-3+1-320/SRT is a 4-pole Type 2 surge protective device (SPD) from the VALVETRAB family for three-phase, four-wire AC distribution. It uses the 3+1 circuit: three varistor plugs VAL-MS-EE-T2-320-P/SRT protect L1, L2 and L3 against neutral, and an F-MS-40 ST/SRT plug protects neutral against earth — full protection for 3-phase panels against switching surges and indirect lightning surges.
All four protection modules are plug-in units that can be replaced without rewiring. The base snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail, with clearly marked L1 / L2 / L3 / N terminals and two earth (PE) terminals. Made by Phoenix Contact, Blomberg, Germany.
Typical uses: three-phase main distribution boards and sub-panels in factories, commercial buildings and hospitals, MCC and PLC panels, solar inverter AC side and machine control cabinets.
