FDD 1.25-250

The JiGO FDD 1.25-250 is a flat female receptacle (push-on / disconnect type) used to make a quick, tool-free connect-and-disconnect joint in control panels, switchboards, automotive and appliance wiring. The barrel is rolled from tin-plated copper, so it crimps softly onto the strands and resists corrosion in humid Indian conditions.

It is half insulated – the crimp barrel is covered by a colour-coded vinyl sleeve while the receptacle itself stays bare. The sleeve is red, which is the standard colour code for 1.5 mm² conductors, so an electrician can tell the size of the terminal at a glance on a crowded panel. Mates with a standard male push-on tab.

Crimp it with any ordinary insulated-terminal crimping plier — no special die is needed. Suitable for 0.5 – 1.5 mm² (AWG 22–16) conductors.
