The HEX double compression cable gland is the standard brass gland for terminating armoured cable. The inner compression seals on the inner sheath and clamps the armour between the cone and the armour ring, while the outer compression seals on the outer sheath. That gives three things at once: a weatherproof entry, mechanical retention of the cable, and electrical continuity from the cable armour through to the enclosure for earthing.
Used on panels, motors, LT distribution boards and outdoor equipment. HEX is manufactured by Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd, making cable glands in Gujarat since 1991. Arjun Trading Company keeps the working sizes in stock in Ludhiana.
