HEX HEXPRESS-14 Cable Cutter 70 sq mm

The HEXPRESS-14 is a compact hand cable cutter for copper and aluminium conductors up to 70 sq mm. The curved shear blades draw the conductor into the cut instead of flattening it, so the cable end stays round and takes a lug cleanly — which matters when the next step is a crimp. At 290 grams it goes in the pouch rather than the toolbox, and it is the tool electricians reach for on site rather than a hacksaw.

Not for use on steel wire armour or steel conductors. HEX tools are made by Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd alongside the HEX lug, gland and crimping range.
