Connected between V+, V- and earth, it diverts lightning-induced surge currents safely to ground, protecting the solar inverter and array. Pluggable modules with colour status windows allow quick replacement after a surge event. Suitable for residential and commercial rooftop solar plants, combiner boxes and DC distribution boards.
